Tyler R. Monahan

Tyler Monahan is a partner of Turner-Monahan, PLLC practicing in the fields of family law and criminal law. Mr. Monahan is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

Tyler has been named a Top Attorney in the area of Family Law by Fort Worth Magazine for six years in a row, including the most recent 2025 recognition.

He has also been named a Rising Star by Texas Monthly Magazine for three years plus.

With over 10 years of experience handling family law and criminal law issues for clients, Tyler prides himself on being detail-oriented and understanding and relating to what clients are experiencing throughout the phases of their cases.

Tyler is a native Fort Worthian who graduated from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

He also attended Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he completed the Certified Financial Planner Certification Education Program

Tyler attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he obtained a temporary law license and worked at the school’s Law Clinic, representing clients with domestic relations and family law issues.

Prior to joining Turner-Monahan, PLLC, Mr. Monahan was a Financial Advisor for RBC Dain Rauscher (RBC). At RBC, Mr. Monahan handled complex estate planning issues for high-net-worth individuals and worked closely with estate planning attorneys and CPAs.

Mr. Monahan is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Texas Christian University Alumni Association, and the Cherokee Nation.
