Dick Turner

Dick Turner is a partner of Turner-Monahan, PLLC concentrating his practice of law in the fields of personal injury, criminal law, and family law.

Mr. Turner is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and practices throughout the State of Texas and the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Turner grew up in a family of attorneys. His son, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, cousin, and father have practiced law in the North Texas metroplex for many years.

Mr. Turner was an outstanding football, baseball, and golf athlete. He received a four-year scholarship to attend Texas Christian University. He received many athletic awards, including All-Southwest Conference, the Carroll Dyess Award, and Most Valuable Player while at TCU in the late ‘’60s.

He graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Combined Sciences. Mr. Turner received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston, Bates College of Law, in 1973.

While in law school, he worked in the Harris County District Attorney’s office. After law school, Mr. Turner returned to Cleburne to practice law with his father and cousin and has remained in the same location since that time.

Mr. Turner has extensive experience in all family law matters, handling a range of cases from simple divorces to complex asset division cases. He has dealt with all aspects of family law, from divorce, adoption, custody, and child support matters.
